Background:
Need a makeover in a hurry. Teros, formerly Stratum8 Networks, was founded in 2000. Backed by its technical vision and leadership, Teros has placed itself at the top of its market in providing real-time application security to Fortune 1000 companies, government agencies and large website operators.
Having been known as Stratum8 Networks since its inception, Teros felt the need to smoothly render its branding to a higher level, while keeping their customers attuned to the change.
Evolve was given the responsibility of overseeing a smooth brand transition and maintaining a consistency in branding through all of their media initiatives.
Solution:
One-stop shop. Evolve Media entered the scene with the strategy to smoothly shift the Stratum8 branding into Teros. All collateral including white papers, presentations, and diagrams were streamlined into the new corporate identity. The newly redesigned website included a flash announcement of the transition, making it easy for the customers to adjust to the new name. The language on the site was carefully selected so as not to reflect a takeover or buyout, but rather a repositioning that confirmed the company's commitment to their clients and investors.
In 2003, Evolve Media successfully improved Teros' marketing approach by taking part in Teros' tradeshow booth designs, mass mail development as well as screensavers and desktop wallpapers used throughout their organization.
Results:
Total branding transition in half the time and within the budget.Evolve Media delivered a fast resolution to meet Teros' timeline and budget. Teros realized a return on their various marketing initiatives investment by receiving $12 Million in Venture Capital Financing as well as receiving featured coverage, recognition and awards from eWeek, InfoWorld, CRN and ComputerWorld among others.
